Two Tiles, One Clean Look
The design is built around two contrasting wall tiles. Large-format grey tiles with a soft stone-look finish run floor to ceiling in the shower and on the wall behind the toilet, while white gloss subway tiles laid horizontally line the vanity wall. The combination adds texture and interest without making a small room feel busy. Light grey floor tiles keep the palette calm, and the large tile sizes mean fewer grout lines to scrub.
A Shower With Natural Light
The shower is enclosed by sliding glass doors with slim chrome framing, which saves the space a swinging door would need. Inside, an overhead rain shower head is paired with a hand shower on a rail, giving the household the choice of a relaxing soak or a quick rinse. A frosted window within the shower brings in natural light while keeping privacy, and opening it after a hot shower is one of the simplest ways to prevent mould in a bathroom after a renovation, especially in Brisbane’s humid climate. A square floor waste keeps the shower floor draining cleanly.
